My Grateful Table Blog Hop

I am a people person. I love people, I love socializing, I love gathering, and that is why Thanksgiving, even as a little girl, has always been my favorite holiday (well I'll be honest, I also really love food too). This year will be our very first one completely by ourselves. I've been a little worried that it won't quite feel the same so when it came time to think about how I would set up our table I knew it had to make a statement. I knew I wanted something that made the spirit of the holiday come alive.

One thing we always had on Thanksgiving were dim lights and candles. Looking back I see how important the ambiance was to setting the mood. When I saw this candle set from Afloral I knew that's where I should start and I built from there. I incorporated a few pedestal bowls to add even more candle lighting. These gorgeous bowls are so versatile I knew I could use them for so many things in the future.

I wanted a cool color palette that sill felt warm and cozy. I'm obsessed with this hops bunch from Afloral and kicking myself for not getting more. It adds the perfect touch of a harvest vibe to this arrangement.

I choose this gorgeous pedestal vase to create a high-low arrangement using peonies, giant garden roses, ranunculus, seeded eucalyptus, lambs ear, dark blueish black berries, and hops all from my very favorite faux flower company Afloral. They have the best selection and I went to town filling my cart with all these gorgeous items. You can see a full tutorial and video here.
